I’ll never forget the good times we had. You were like a third arm to me. A third arm that could cut through anything.

I remember buying you for $15 at harbor freight, curious about what an angle grinder could do. You surpassed my wildest expectations.

You died an honorable death in the service of racing.

2015-2016.

It will be remembered by the cutting wheels, the long serving grinding wheel, and the wild wire wheel. As well as the upscale harbor freight grinder you will be replaced with tomorrow.

1 year only?

I’ve got a cheap grinder that just will not die. I’ve really used and abused it since 2007. I just can’t justify replacing it.

But I believe it needs a partner, a better, more powerful partner.

I was using my grinder today as well. $30, and it came with 30 grinding disks. Haven’t used it a lot until recently, so I’ll be curious to know how long it will last.

1 year of service in race car fabrication is longer than I’d guess a Harbor Freight angle grinder would last.

Fun game - try to find a New-In-Box angle grinder that’s not made in China.

To be fair, it's hard enough all ready to find any new in box product that's not made in China

One year of very heavy use. But it’s the drill master one. My friend’s Chicago electric one refuses to die

Yep. That’s 1/4" 6061 that it was struggling with already

Aluminum can sometimes clog up the cutting disc. I have a plasma cutter for that :)
